LAWN CARE SERVICE PACKAGES
The J. E. Bandi Lawn Care program is tailored to meet the unique requirements of each lawn. We provide three fundamental levels of lawn service, with complete flexibility to accommodate the specific conditions of your property. Our lawn expert, John Bandi, will engage in a comprehensive consultation with you to explore all available lawn service options.
SILVER LAWN CARE PACKAGE
This is our basic package that offers 6 lawn care applications which include season-long comprehensive insect and weed control. The 6 applications also include a slow-release nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilization program which provides all your seasonal fertilization requirements for all cool season grasses
GOLD LAWN CARE PACKAGE
This package includes all the elements of Silver service package, with the addition of a lime application. The organic-based lime application will maintain or raise your soil pH depending on soil probe test results that are performed during service visits. The lime application will make our other fertilization visits up to 25% more effective.
PLATINUM LAWN CARE PACKAGE
This package is our highest level of service, includes all services in the previous 2 packages with the addition of our game-changing Disease Control plus Soil-Enhancement treatment. It's the application designed to make your lawn the envy of the neighborhood!

Fertilization
Healthy grass plants need consistent nutrient supply throughout the growing season. Our premium lawn care plans offer a balanced mix of nutrients to ensure your lawn achieves the highest turf quality and health. We use slow-release, organic nitrogen sources and micronutrients in our fertilizer program for your lawn and landscape.
Comprehensive Weed Control
A weed is any plant that grows in an area where it is not desired. This could include grass in a landscape bed, dandelions in a lawn, or crabgrass in a lawn, among other examples. Our comprehensive weed control program employs integrated pest management strategies to eliminate undesirable plants from your lawn. The objective is to establish a healthy lawn that is resilient to weed encroachment. We utilize targeted preventive and curative approaches to control all weeds on your property.
Comprehensive Insect Control
Our comprehensive pest management strategy extends to insects as well. We employ preventive measures to specifically target white grubs during their most susceptible stage of their life cycle. Furthermore, we implement preventive measures throughout the entire growing season to control surface-feeding insects, which encompass fleas, ticks, chinch bugs, and fall army worms.
Lime
Maintaining a healthy soil pH is paramount for the well-being of a lawn. Cool-season turf grasses thrive in slightly acidic soil conditions. Conversely, severely acidic soils severely impede nutrient uptake by turf grass plants, resulting in a reduction in fertilizer effectiveness by up to 25%. Calcium or magnesium-based lime applications effectively raise the soil pH to an optimal level, promoting healthy turfgrass growth and establishment. We can conduct a soil pH test on-site and provide a lime recommendation as part of your complimentary service quote.
Disease Control and Soil Enhancement
Disease spores are constantly present in all turfgrass ecosystems. Under specific weather conditions, certain turf diseases can invade your lawn and cause decline or even death. To effectively prevent and control lawn diseases, we adopt a comprehensive approach. We foster a healthy soil environment by providing all the necessary micro-nutrients throughout the season. By ensuring that all plant-required nutrients are at optimal levels, we significantly reduce lawn disease pressure. Under the Platinum Lawn Care Service, we proactively treat the turf with fungus control products at the appropriate times throughout the season.
Microbial Aerating
The mechanically aerating turfgrass era has passed, eliminating the need for soil plugs, damaged dog fences, and broken sprinkler heads. At J. E. Bandi Lawn Care, we have embraced a novel technology called microbial aeration.
This process involves the application of a carbon-based product that enhances and restores the microbial population in your lawn. Soil microbes are crucial for maintaining healthy soil and turf grasses. Over time, soil microbial populations decline, necessitating microbial aeration to replace these microbes, providing them with a food source that creates pore space in the soil, improves air and water flow through the soil profile, and facilitates root penetration if overseeding is required. Microbial aeration can be accomplished in a significantly shorter duration compared to mechanical aeration, leaving no damage to the existing lawn. Unlike mechanical aeration, microbial aeration ensures complete coverage of the lawn surface, eliminating the need to avoid edges and certain grades due to machine limitations.
